Ate lunch here today. This place is a little better than their reviews. This is an open air bar/restaurant so if you want 5stAr dining you simply went to the wrong kind of place. The food was very good. Wife had a Caesar wrap. Daughter got some kind of buffalo chicken wrap that was a special they both said they were good. I got cilantro slaw as a side. It was really good. Olivia our waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful a ordered a perch sandwich that she recommended which was also very good. Also got a cup of the Manhattan chowder. It wasn't bad, I would get the New England next time.
Atmosphere was nice location great right on the water.  Also inside dining and bar seating available.
Service was excellent. Olivia had a lot of tables and was really on it.

My husband and I went to Dock's on Saturday night for our anniversary. I've wanted to stop all summer, as we have driven by numerous times. It was busy and we expected a wait, which was fine. We were greeted by a very unfriendly hostess, who didn't seem like she wanted to be there. I watched her interact with patrons and her co-workers all evening and didn't see her smile once. Our wait was 45 minutes and we were seated. Our waitress was great and her service was the only thing good about our experience there. The menu isn't huge and it was costly. My husband ordered the Walleye Dinner for $27.00. He received one large piece of fish and a supposedly double order of red potatoes. The potatoes were clearly a single order, were cold and without seasoning of any kind. The fish was ok, he said, nothing to write home about. I ordered a Cobb Salad that was $18.00 and added chicken for an additional $6.00...$24.00 total for a salad is ridiculous. The salad was fine but, again, it's a salad and shouldn't cost that at all.

They had live entertainment scheduled to play on the deck outside. The weather didn't cooperate, however, and they were moved inside. This was an awesome duo called The Bind and was put on the dining room side of the establishment, which was a complete injustice to their talents.
They were literally shoved up against the wall, behind the hostess station, in an area of about 4 ft x 6 ft and had to fight a clothing rack. I couldn't get over this! All they had to do was remove a table in the corner on the bar side for these people to perform. I heard one of the singer's saying that they had to downscale to one speaker and had hardly any room to play his instrument. The staff was not accommodating of their needs and it showed on the performers faces that they were not happy. And live entertainment should not be held in the dining side, if there's a bar side. In addition, there was a large birthday party directly in front of the band with small children and balloons and chaos. I felt bad for the band.

We sat at the bar for awhile trying to listen to the music after our dinner. The bar staff liked to mess around and had to be hailed multiple times to get service because of this. Not  because they were busy, because they were, but because they were messing around. I would be furious with this crew, if I owned this place.

In closing, I was just really disappointed. The rating of one star is for the waitress. She was awesome and I wish I had gotten her name so I could single her out in the recognition that she deserves. We will not be back ever.

I'd give this location a 5-star if only the review comprised only location score. They are located near a spot overlooking Lake Eerie. Several tables overlook the lake. You could walk to the river bed as well while waiting for your order. The place has light music area. The food was delicious. The burger was fresh and filling. It was a tad bit oily for my liking. Hence the 4-star. Overall, would definitely recommend the place!

I went the first week they opened. The service was good, and atmosphere laid back. I had a half pound of peel and eat shrimp and vegetable of the day. Veggies were piping hot and flavor was great. The shrimp was iced down in a large platter. Beer was cold, service great and view of lake was peaceful. Loved the atmosphere here.
